I love making gifts. A hand made gift, done well, is miles better than something you can buy at the store. In this case, I had been playing a popular mobile game with a friend. The game was named DrawSomething. It was a game where you drew a word, and the other person had to guess what you were drawing. The reward for guessing correctly was gold coins, which you could then use in the game to buy hints and other perks.
For this build, I took apart a box of crayons and recreated the box in Adobe Illustrator. I then decorated the box to match the game’s graphics. I found some chocolate gold coins at the grocery store and placed those inside the box. This was a fun gift that referenced our addiction to a game we played with each other every day.
