Every year American Airlines would have a Chili Cookoff, where teams from all over the base would compete for the best chili. This particular year our theme was a play off Wendy’s, called Windy’s. Fart jokes are prevalent at these events, and are universally funny. You never out grow fart jokes. 

I wanted to create a drive through window costume. This would allow me to walk around taking people’s chili order, as well as be something I could simply wear on top of my regular cloths. 

I created a box using foam board and printed out graphics to apply to the outside. I made a simple set of straps on the inside that allowed me to wear the costume on my shoulders like a pair of suspenders.

We didn’t win best chili, but we did win best costume!
