I applied for a job at Tate Publishing by creating a mock book design to house my resume and portfolio samples. Tate Publishing was looking for a graphic designer to help create book designs for their clients.

I decided to break the "book" into three chapters: Introduction, Resume, and Portfolio. I wrote a few blurbs for each chapter and provided my real information as examples. I think the end result came out great. Not bad, considering I hammered it out in one night.

I had applied to Tate Publishing twice before which is why I went with a theme of three. On the bottom of the cover you will see that I am also an author of Three Times A Charm. However, I never heard back from them. I must have blown my first interview because I really thought this design would, at the very least, give me another chance to come back and speak with them.
